Transmission 1.51 torrent

Closed 13 years ago. When torrent is completed and enters seed mode, webseed status is incorrect, when torrent full info is viewed with transmission-remote -t X -i:. The code in transmission-remote looks correct, so I think this is a bug with the data coming back from libtransmission. So it looks like the bug is somewhere in webseed. There is only one developer currently working on libtransmission, and webseeds are a low priority because webseed.

Unless they catch on more in the BitTorrent? Transmission is designed for easy, powerful use. We've set the defaults to Just Work and it only takes a few clicks to configure advanced features like watch directories, bad peer blocklists, and the web interface. When Ubuntu chose Transmission as its default BitTorrent client, one of the most-cited reasons was its easy learning curve. Transmission also has the lowest memory footprint of any major BitTorrent client.

Imageshack chose Transmission for its BitTorrent farms because the competition requires amounts of memory several times greater than Transmission. I'm lauching transmission as 'transmission-daemon -f' via the console.

But the crash is still same. Brazzy: Please run transmission-daemon in the foreground inside of a gdb session and attach the backtrace. KyleK: do you have any tips on how to track down problems on these systems?

There are a handful of these crash reports on embedded systems, and none of them seem to make any sense. There really aren't much options on these minimal Linux distributions. Spiking the code with debug output is about the only way that might help. It's been a month since anyone added any information about this crash, so I'm closing the ticket as incomplete. Please reopen this ticket when more information is available. Powered by Trac 1. Opened 13 years ago Closed 13 years ago.

Description Hello, Sometimes transmission daemon crashes after some time. Attachments 1 crash. Oldest first Newest first Threaded. Comments only. Changed 13 years ago by krx. Replying to charles : krx: Thanks for reporting this bug to try to help improve Transmission. I hoped so, while posting :- Replying to KyleK : That optware release, is it the official 1. My gut tells me that the ratio-control implemented in the trunk might be responsible for these crashes 1.

Replying to charles : Well, this is a fun ticket. RAM check did not reveal any errors, has run for x cycles. Log below: [root MyBookWorld bin]. Replying to brazzy : Starting the traffic-daemon appears to function fine, but when I connect via a client firefox, IE, etc it only partially downloads a few files not torrent files, but web page for the GUI, I can watch them in fiddler and then crashes.
